Ethics Committee

The Alfort Veterinary School (ENVA) has created an Ethics Committee, in partnership with the ANSES and the Université Paris Est - Créteil, whose role is to ensure that all experimentation requiring live animals is performed with respect for ethics and legislation.
The Ethics Committee follows the guidelines established by the National charter on ethics in animal experimentation published by the National Committee on Ethics in Animal Experimentation. According to the charter, all experimentation involving animals must be evaluated and approved by an Ethics Committee.

The Committee is composed of 25 members, appointed for 3 years and drawn from the researchers and technical staff of the ANSES, the ENVA and the Université Paris Est - Créteil.
