In order to guide you in your literature search, here are some tips and useful links.

Which is the most appropriate search tool? 

When looking  for references to books, theses, congress proceedings and special editions:

When looking for references to articles in international veterinary periodicals, as well as book chapters and proceedings of international congresses:

When looking for references to articles in international periodicals of human and veterinary medicine:

  • use the medical database (non-exhaustive in vet. med.): PubMed (Internet)


When looking for references to articles in international scientific periodicals:

  • use the multidisciplinary database (non-exhaustive): ScienceDirect (Intranet)
     

When performing a one-off search or to finalise a lecture: 

  •  • use the reference books: in the Library database (Internet)
    (consult the summaries of recent publications)
